Here at Northeast, 2 to 3 times a year, we offer our Short Term Groups. Short Term Groups provide an easy way to join a group for a shorter period of time (6-12 weeks) to explore a single relevant topic (spiritual growth, marriage, parenting, relationships, finances).
Our winter Short Term Groups begin the week of February 6. Here’s a list on our available Short Term Groups for this winter. Click on the link to register.
“Finding I Am” with Lysa Terkeurst and “Fear & Faith” with Trillia Newbell
(led by Megan Ryan & Kristin Fish)
Finding I Am
What is the deep cry of your heart? That ache in your soul that keeps you up at night? The prayer you keep repeating? Jesus not only cares about this deep, spiritual wrestling, but He also wants to step in and see you through it.
Join Lysa TerKeurst on the streets of Israel to explore the seven I AM statements of Jesus found in the Gospel of John.
Fear and Faith: Finding the Peace Your Heart Craves
Failure, rejection, sickness, losing a loved one, being alone—the fears we carry are many and heavy. When we’re struck with fear, where do we turn? Can God really be trusted?
Trillia Newbell invites women to explore their fears and how those fears impact their relationships, self-esteem, peace of mind, and walk with God.
Whatever your fear, you will realize you are not alone, nor are you without hope. You have the One who can calm your fears, grow your faith, and give the peace your heart craves.
Begins February 6 – 12 Weeks on Tuesdays from 9-11 am in the Northeast Christian Church Cafe
Fee: Purchase of your Bible Study book from the Northeast Bookstore
The Study of Galatians (led by Ann Gulley)
If someone asked you to explain the gospel, what would you say? What is the good news of the Christian faith? Writing to the Galatians, Paul made it clear how easily we can be tempted to turn toward fraudulent gospels, especially those that teach we can earn God’s love through our works.
In this Book of the Bible series, Kyle Idleman dives into the book of Galatians, one that contains some of the clearest explanations of the gospel in the New Testament.
Begins February 7 – 6 Weeks on Wednesdays from 6:30-8 pm at Northeast

Parents today are raising children in a world that looks very different from the one they grew up in. Today’s America is throwing more at our children and students at a younger age. So, how do we raise Godly students in a world that we may not fully understand? The goal of this group is to begin to equip parents to work through the key issues of today with their children.
